God Is On The Move!

It’s so exciting to be sharing this good news with you. I had sensed in my spirit to teach on the series Life in the Spirit and to also have teaching sessions on Wednesday nights along with a worship healing service the last Wednesday. Recently I have heard many praise reports and we’ve asked folks to write out their stories. I want to share two of these stories with you in this newsletter. One healing testimony relates to the Wednesday services when six of the nine we prayed with received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit (one called later to say he had received while at home as he was worshiping the Lord by himself). The other healing took place after a Sunday morning service. There will be more stories coming! God is on the move at Lifepointe!
April’s Story: I received an emotional healing when I was baptized in the Holy Spirit. I have had an overwhelming peace and a stillness since that day, and I have always suffered from anxiety and at times depression. I have had peace since I was saved, but this was amped up to overflowing when I received the Holy Spirit. On this day, I also received salvation assurance, which was something I was battling for a long time. When you asked me to write something, it made me nervous because I didn’t know what to write and so I prayed. I received an answer on the evening of 6/7/21. With no warning, I could feel an overwhelming sense of the Holy Spirit telling me to find a notebook and write, and I wrote through my tears. I have not written poetry in 20 years, and I thought this creative side was lost to me. In 20 minutes, the following poem was written. All credit goes to Jesus, and I am filled with gratitude, amazement, and love for my Savior and all He has done for me. Thank you kindly and God bless you.

My heart’s desire was for this day
When I found a Friend who chose to stay
I didn’t chose Him, He instead chose me
He broke my chains and set me free
Truest peace to depths I never knew
Highest joy in Your Presence, my soul thirsts for you
All of my burdens You’ve promised to take
In exchange for my weakness, You give me Your strength
From before I was born, throughout my story
I know I was created to bring You glory
Chance after chance, from the pit to life
You burst through the darkness and revealed Your light

Here is the story about a healing that took place when people came forward for prayer after a Sunday morning service:
Terry’s Story: Before having surgery, I had an EKG to make sure my heart was strong enough to go under general anesthesia. The EKG showed I had had a heart attack at some time. So then I was given a stress test. It showed damage to my heart, but they felt I would be okay for surgery because of the large polyp in my intestine that needed removed. So after the surgery, which was not cancerous, PTL, I had Bishop Wilson and Pastor Katrina pray for my heart. Katrina said to place my hand on my heart every day and quote the verse Psalm 57:7 ‘my heart is fixed, my heart is fixed, I will sing and give praise.’ And so each time I would have shortness of breath and chest pain, I would place my hand on my heart and quote that verse and remind the Lord that I was in agreement with my pastors that had laid hands on me and prayed. That being said, the last time I went to the doctor, she could not find my heart murmur and said my heart sounded very strong. Also I have not had any chest pains or shortness of breath at all lately. Thank you Lord! He loves us so and wants nothing but the best health for all of us. I have been exercising and lost 12 lbs lately. I have never felt better!
I know you were blessed, as I was, by these wonderful testimonies of God’s healing grace emotionally and physically. May I encourage you that when you come to church, come expecting! As I said, God is on the move at Lifepointe! More Good News to come!
