Your Identity Has Not Changed
/Battling discouragement and anxiety during this time?
Totally understandable!
Here is a word of encouragement for you…
Your identity in Christ has not changed in any way!
2nd Corinthians 5 and 17 says:
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, they are a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things (in you) have become new.”
That was true pre-Covid-19 and will still be true post-Covid-19, because you're going to make it through this to the other side!
But in the meantime, just know who you are in Christ has not changed and will not change no matter what the circumstances: past, present, or future! Why?
Because your salvation and identity in Him, in Christ, is based on Him, what Christ has done for you out of His great love for you!
It’s not based on this world, it’s not based on your works, it’s not based on shut in or free to go, but on Him. And He, Christ, never fails, and so your salvation and identity in Him will not fail either during this time of crisis!
Be encouraged! You’re still God’s great work of art in Christ!
“For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.”
Ephesians 2:10
