POINTE YOUTH AND POINTE KIDS ARE BACK!
We are excited to re-open Sunday, August 2nd!
POINTE KIDS INFO:
Please know we are taking extra precautions to make sure the rooms are safe for your children. If you aren’t quite ready to be back in person, we still have easy to use videos and resources available online just for your kids! We pray these materials create opportunities for your whole family to have fun and learn about God right in your home!
As we re-open, these measures have been put into place to keep everyone safe and protected:
• During Phase 1 we will start with our elementary & preschool classes. Our goal is to maintain smaller class sizes for easier social distancing. If we see that either one of these classes becomes too large, we will separate that class into two rooms.
• At this time, Nursery will not be returning during Phase 1, however we will be offering a Parent’s Room where the service will be live-streamed.
• During class there will be assigned seating and a limited number of games to help reduce the spread of germs.
• We will ensure kids wash their hands or use hand sanitizer upon entering and exiting the classroom and as needed throughout the service. We will also encourage physical distancing as much as possible.
• There will be no food or drink served during class at this time.
• If your child has an accident or needs assistance we will page you.
• To allow for your children's safety during class, all volunteers will be screened before serving and will be washing their hands upon entering the building and frequently thereafter.
• Our team will follow required cleaning before and after service.
• Classrooms will be thoroughly sanitized after each service. We will wipe down all toys with disinfectant, wipe down tables, chairs, doorknobs, countertops, etc. We will rotate toys that have been used to allow for clean toys to be available each week.
HOW YOU CAN HELP:
• Please do not bring kids if they are experiencing any flu-like symptoms (fever, cough, runny nose, headaches, sore throat, diarrhea, vomiting, etc.)
• If you or anyone in your home has been exposed to COVID-19 within the past 10 days please stay home.
• We are asking parents to please wait to drop off children until 10:15 and pick them up immediately after service.
• There will be no self-check in at this time. We will have one designated person who will check-in each family and print tags as they arrive. Computers will be cleaned with each new volunteer.
• We are encouraging parents to stagger drop off and pickup, when possible, to allow for social distancing.
Pointe Kids desire is to continue to provide a loving and fun environment while adhering to safety procedures. We also greatly appreciate your help by being flexible and showing grace towards others.
